The short version
- The app collects your phone's precise location only while you are On Duty on an active trip — including in the background, when the app is closed or the screen is off.
- When you are Off Duty or have no active trip, the app does not collect your location.
- Your location is shown only to the logistics company you are driving for on that trip.
- The app shows no advertising. We do not sell your data.
- You can ask us to delete your account and your data at any time — see section 9.
1. Who we are
SeeTruck is a cargo tracking platform for logistics companies, operated from Uzbekistan. A logistics company assigns a trip to a driver, and the driver's phone reports the truck's location during that trip so the company and its customers know where the cargo is.

2. Data the app collects
Account data
Your phone number, your name (entered by the logistics company that invites you), the one-time invite code from the company, and your PIN. The PIN is stored only in hashed form — we cannot read it.
When you activate and log inPrecise location
GPS coordinates (latitude and longitude), speed, direction of travel and the time of each point. Points are recorded about every 10–15 seconds while the truck is moving and about once a minute while it is standing still.

Battery level, whether GPS is working, network type and app version. Only the latest values are kept, and only for a short time, so we can find out why tracking stopped.

Used only if you choose to scan the QR invite code from your company. The image is read on your phone; it is not saved and not sent to us.

3. Background location
SeeTruck collects location data to enable live truck tracking and cargo delivery status for the logistics company you drive for, even when the app is closed or not in use — but only while you are On Duty on an active trip.
This is the core function of the app: a truck on a long route must stay visible on the company's map without the driver keeping the phone screen on. While tracking is active, the app shows a permanent notification so you always know it is running.
Location collection stops when:
- you switch to Off Duty;
- the trip is completed or cancelled by the company;
- you log out of the app;
- you remove the location permission in your phone's settings.
If there is no network, location points are stored temporarily on your phone and sent when the connection returns.
4. How we use the data
- To show the truck's position and route to the dispatchers of the logistics company during the trip.
- To keep cargo owners informed about the status of their cargo.
- To tell a planned stop (fuel, rest, end of shift) apart from a lost signal or a breakdown.
- To log you in and protect your account.
- To diagnose and fix tracking problems.
We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it.
5. Who we share data with
- The logistics company you drive for. Its staff see your name, phone number, truck, location and duty status for the trips you make for that company. A company sees only data from its own trips. If you work with several companies, none of them sees your trips for the others or learns which other companies you work with.
- The company's customers (cargo owners). They receive cargo status updates such as "in transit" or "at customs"; these notifications are delivered through Telegram. If the logistics company enables it, they may also see where the truck is.
- Service providers. Hosting and infrastructure providers that store and process data on our behalf.
- Authorities. When the law requires us to disclose data.
6. How we protect the data
- All data sent between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
- Your PIN is stored only as a hash.
- Company staff can reach only the data of their own company's trips, according to their role.
No system is perfectly secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us and ask your dispatcher for a new invite code.
7. How long we keep the data
- Detailed location points: after 48 hours they are thinned to one point per minute.
- Trip history (thinned route and duty events): kept while your account exists, as the delivery record of the trip.
- Device diagnostics: up to 1 hour.
- Points waiting on your phone: removed from the phone once they are delivered to the server.
- Account data: kept until your account is deleted.
After a deletion request we delete or irreversibly anonymize your data within 30 days, except data we are required by law to keep.
8. Your choices and rights
- Stop location collection at any time by switching to Off Duty. You can also remove the location permission in your phone's settings — tracking will then not work.
- See or correct the data we hold about you by contacting us.
- Delete your account and data — see the next section.
You may also have other rights under the personal data law of your country. To use any of them, write to info@seetruck.uz.
9. Deleting your account
To delete your SeeTruck account, send an email to info@seetruck.uz with the subject "Delete account" and the phone number of your account, or call +998 90 261 09 19. We confirm that the number is yours and then, within 30 days:
- delete your account — name, phone number, PIN and your links to companies;
- delete or irreversibly anonymize the location history and duty events connected to your account.
Uninstalling the app does not delete your account.
10. Children
The app is a work tool for professional drivers. It is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
11. The seetruck.uz website
- Demo request form. The company name, your name and phone number you enter are sent to our team (delivered through Telegram) so that we can contact you.
- Analytics. The website uses Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. They use cookies and collect information about how the site is used: pages viewed, clicks and scrolling, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from the IP address.
- Language. Your language choice is saved in your browser.
12. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we publish the new version on this page and update the effective date. If the changes are significant, we also tell you in the app.
